Summer Reflections

Hello dear one,

This summer has been a season of resting in liminal spaces, time in nature, healing and deep personal transitions - and now, as I sit down to write to you again, I’m carrying both the warmth of those experiences and a sense of anticipation for what’s ahead. I hope your summer has held its own moments of joy, rest, and fun.

There’s something about this time of year, as the days are slowly and slowly getting shorter, that calls us to slow down just enough to notice where we’ve been and where we are heading. Perhaps you’re returning from summer adventures and now finding yourself adjusting to a new rhythm - children settling back into school, teenagers stepping into another year of growth and independence, or maybe even the quiet shift that comes with sending a child off to college. Personally, I’m savoring this mix of joy and nostalgia as my daughter continues her high school journey, full of laughter, curiosity, and the kind of memories that, at first, are measured in moments but soon add up to years.

It feels like a season that’s asking us to be present- to step into coherence between mind, body, and heart. In Ayurveda, we honor these transitions by tuning into the small daily choices that create stability and ease, because change is best navigated not with grand gestures, but with steady rituals that root us.

So I invite you to notice the patterns that shape your days-

  • the way you begin your mornings,
  • the meals and moments that truly nourish you,
  • the cravings that show up late at night,
  • and the ways you choose to care for yourself in the spaces between responsibilities.

Renewal is never about one single practice. It’s the way our choices weave together into a rhythm - how we feed our bodies and our minds, the seasonal rituals that mark our mornings and evenings, the movement that strengthens us and the way we replenish afterward, the attention we give to our gut, hormones, digestion, and sleep.

When we live in this awareness, something begins to shift. Our sleep deepens, our energy becomes steadier, our focus sharper, and there’s a lightness - both physical and emotional- that makes it easier to move through life with grace and an inner radiance begins to emerge.

If you’re feeling called to anchor into these shifts as we move toward fall, my Seasonal Living Course is exactly the place where you learn how to do all of this. It’s designed to guide you through the year with practical, beautiful rituals for all four seasons -from nutrition and sleep to hormone balance, breathwork, recipes, and thoughtful workbooks that help you make each season an ally in your wellbeing. Get access to all the seasons. If you're feeling called, this might be your sign to dive in.

Recently, I shared an Instagram reel on one of the most powerful tools I return to again and again- the simple act of pausing before taking action, especially in moments of stress. It’s a practice that creates space for steadiness, and choices you won’t later regret. You can watch it here.

In one of the blogs I wrote for Organic India USA, I explore Ayurveda for Women- and how ancient wisdom can help us navigate burnout, hormonal shifts, and emotional disconnection with balance. You can explore it here.

A few of my current favorites :
